Letters from a strange year
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!As 2020 draws to a close, I am pleased to announce an exhibition in the new year with a good friend and fellow artist.
Artist’s conversations are well documented throughout history and are central to practice. They provide a space for critique, reflection and growth. Letters from a strange year is an exploration of how, over the duration of the global pandemic two artists; Paul Anderson Morrow and Sarah Needham continued their conversation throughout this strange year.
As we move forward into 2021 and with an end to the current situation in sight, the work presented in this exhibition explores how their conversation changed and responded to the challenges of the pandemic. It is a means to both mark this chapter and to reflect on how it informed their practice during this trying time.
To exhibit and show and share work is central to an artist’s practice. We would like to invite you to join our conversations and to reflect on this strange year.
Pictures show some of the selected works that will be on exhibition.
